Dr. Susie Lingham will step down as director of Singapore Art Museum (SAM), a post she has held for only two years. Her last day will be March 31, 2016. In the meantime, the search for a new director "will commence soon," while senior curators Joyce Toh and Tan Siuli are slated to co-helm the curatorial team. Leng Tshua will continue as the museum's chief administrative executive.

Dr. Lingham is leaving SAM in order "to pursue personal projects," but remains in discussion with the museum about her role in the upcoming Singapore Biennale (10/28/2016–2/26/2017), an event with which she has been integrally involved.
