Art Fair Report: True Optimism

Money flows where the optimism goes. Eager to return to pre-pandemic scales—both physically and financially—fairs in the Asia-Pacific region introduced local talent to international visitors who returned for the first time in three years. In Dubai, a destination to skirt financial sanctions in Europe, people wondered if art sales were impacted by the Russia-Ukraine War.
