Studio Visit with Pak Sheung Chuen

In 2009, Hong Kong artist Pak Sheung Chuen left his studio in the industrial Fo Tan, in the New Territories, due to rising rent. Now he works at home in a housing complex tucked away on a luscious hillside in Sai Kung, a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong island. On a particularly muggy day, ArtAsiaPacific met up with Pak at his home and current studio to capture objects that inspire his conceptual interventions. Through his work, Pak tries to teach people to take the time to find the small miracles and hidden messages around Hong Kong city.
