ArtAsiaPacific’s Young Writers Contest is back again! Entries will be judged by our editors, and writers will have the chance to be published in the magazine’s pages, as well as receive valuable feedback from established experts in the field.
GUIDELINES:
This year, we are inviting young writers from across the globe to write a 800-word essay on one of the following topics:
A) Memes as Political Art
B) Art and the Environment
Your essay should discuss at least three artworks and should be contextualized within ArtAsiaPacific's region of coverage: Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East.
Judges will be looking for essays written in a fluid, engaged style with strong critical arguments, and that demonstrate clarity and knowledge of the chosen topic.
